Grenergy and CATL Seal Their First 1.25 GWh Deal for Oasis de Atacama

Grenergy has taken a new step in the expansion of its emblematic Oasis de Atacama by closing a strategic agreement with the technology company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited known as CATL, the world’s leading battery manufacturer committed to providing premier solutions in new energy innovation. This new agreement will provide phase four of the project, which will begin construction in the coming weeks, with 1.25GWh of batteries.

CATL will supply Gabriela with its EnerX model containers that comprises more than
7,100 modules, which stands out for its high energy storage density and safety at high
altitudes of 4000m above sea level, allowing a greater amount of energy to be captured
in less space, and uses LFP technology, making it a safe and reliable.
