Conferences like Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas are critical for collaboration, to grow industry knowledge and kickstart innovative ideas. We are all busy and while computers can improve our productivity, they also enable us to over-extend ourselves. Because we typically don’t have enough time in our day to network and talk face-to-face, conferences like this Summit are a must. It’s the ideal way to forge new ideas and partnerships and foster innovation.
Do you have an idea or topic that you would like to see discussed at the Conference? Please submit a short abstract of your work to our Steering Committee for review.
Delivering a paper or presentation is not only rewarding, but also a great way to encourage discussion and help drive industry forward.
I anticipate a great Conference in September and look forward to seeing you in Pasadena!

With the 2020 Fugitive Emissions Summit having to adapt like the rest of the world, we were able to come out on top with a successful conference in the newly coined “hybrid” setting. While some of us were able to join in person, other were not so fortunate. But as time has gone on, we have all started to learn, adapt, and become more comfortable with what is going on in our surroundings. The 2022 Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas is not only setup for great success after these crazy times, but is positioned to be the best Fugitive Emissions Summit yet.
This year’s Chairman is someone who is respected by many folks throughout industry, and someone that I personally respect in every aspect of my life. Tim Goedeker is a man with many talents, including always having the best bow tie on, even if it has the wrong type of bird. Tim will not only bring great content to this year’s conference for the attendees, but will also bring amazing ideas which will help morph this conference for many years to come. I truly look forward to working with Tim and all the steering committee members this year.
Please submit your abstracts to our steering committee, so they can have a great pool for topic selection. If you need any advice on an idea of how best to put together an abstract, please do not hesitate to reach out to Tim or me directly. I hope that everyone will take away something from this year’s conference to help our next generation grow.
Hope to see and spend time with you all in Houston this year.
