BehrTech has introduced a wireless smart sensor for the industrial internet of things (IIoT). The sensor includes an integrated GPS unit and support for mobile data communication up to 120 km/hr, whether attached to a moving object or transmitting data to a moving base station.
The Mythings smart sensor is capable of measuring acceleration, temperature, humidity, vibration, pressure and shock. It can be used for a wide variety of environmental monitoring and IIoT applications such as production quality and control, equipment health monitoring, off-road fleet management, cold chain monitoring and energy management.
