Alliance purchases LDAR division from Bureau Veritas

Alliance has completed its fifth add-on acquisition with the purchase of the US-based Emissions Monitoring (EM) division of Bureau Veritas, a recognized world leader in testing, inspection and certification services. EM, now known as Alliance Emissions Monitoring, LLC (“AEM”), provides Leak Detection and Repair (“LDAR”) services and emissions data management solutions to customers throughout North America.

The formation of AEM is an important growth investment for Alliance, which is actively investing to build the premier emissions monitoring platform complement to its best-in-class source emissions testing group. Strategically, AEM significantly bolsters Alliance’s growing national presence, and provides increased capabilities to respond to complex, challenging emissions monitoring and testing projects. In addition, the partnership increases the range of services that Alliance is able to provide, allowing customers to increasingly benefit from our use of technology, and unparalleled response and customer service (i.e. The Alliance Advantage).

John Belus, Chief Operating Officer of AEM, said, “The Alliance acquisition delivers a combination of emissions testing and monitoring services that is unmatched in the industry; a combination that will leverage technology and service in a way that will strengthen compliance, and reduce risk for any industry in need of LDAR and Stack Testing services.”
