Uniper and Octopus Energy Sign Agreement on Power and Natural Gas Supply

Uniper and Octopus Energy recently have signed an agreement regarding the supply of power and natural gas, as Octopus expands its presence in the European markets of Germany, Italy, and Spain. The agreement covers a wide range of power and gas traded products, to enable Octopus to procure such commodities from Uniper for the purposes of its activities. The agreement also envisages products that support both companies’ renewable energy initiatives, such as power purchase agreements (PPAs).

This transaction exemplifies Uniper’s strength as a mid-streamer in the energy sector, enabling flexible, secure, reliable, and competitive energy supply.
