Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas 2020 Hybrid Event

Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas 2020 Hybrid Event a Great Success!

The Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas 2020 was held on December 9th and 10th at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria in Houston, Texas. The successful two-day hybrid event was hosted in-person in Houston, as well as virtually for remote participants and attendees.

With the option to watch the conference virtually, the event was attended by professionals from around the world, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy, China, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. There was a great mix of Subject Matter Experts, Procurement Managers, and Senior Mechanical Engineers, including representatives from such influential companies as LDARtools, ERI Solutions, TEADIT, Emerson, Midland Engineering, Ltd., Bray International, and HY-BON.

Held at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria, the event was well-attended by visitors who enjoyed walking the exhibition floor and speaking with knowledgeable vendors. Visitors and exhibitors alike were able to network and obtain quality leads, all while maintaining the health and safety protocols set out by the CDC.

The conference, which ran concurrently with the exhibition, began each day with keynote presentations given by the event Chairman, Bronson Pate, TRICORD Consulting, and Tim Goedeker, Phillips 66. The conference’s technical sessions saw attendees both onsite and virtually, with interested delegates who challenged the speakers with educated and thoughtful questions; many in-depth discussions followed. It was thrilling to see industry professionals share ideas and collaborate on important industry topics such as leak detection and repair (LDAR), benzene waste (BWON), monitoring & testing technology, air permitting, emission control & prevention, and more.

The Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas 2020 team would like to thank the Conference Chairman, Bronson Pate, as well as the Steering Committee for all their hard work in creating an interesting and educational conference program.

The Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas 2020 team would also like to take the opportunity to recognize the support of our main event sponsors: Alliance Source Testing, Alliance Emission Monitoring, A.W. Chesterton Company, Bray International, Teadit, and Ventil; the conference supporters: Fugitive Emissions Journal and Messe Dusseldorf; as well as our media sponsors: PetroPages Industrial Marketing, Hydrocarbon Processing, and Empowering Pumps & Equipment.
