CLH Group, a Spanish oil transport and storage company, has approved a sustainability strategy that aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, in alignment with the Paris Agreement and UN Sustainable Development goals.The plan aims to reduce the company’s net emissions of greenhouse gases by 50% by 2025 and become a carbon-neutral organization by 2050.To achieve these goals, CLH is reducing energy consumption by replacing equipment with more efficient devices, incorporating new technological developments and purchasing renewable power or generating its own energy at its facilities.Under the strategy, the CLH2O plan seeks to reduce water consumption, particularly in the cleaning of storage tanks and testing firefighting equipment.
